Christie Week 2009 : 13th - 20th September

Join us and celebrate the Queen of Crime in this year's Agatha Christie Week. Highlights include new radio productions; unpublished short stories; plays and debates. And of course we'll be reading and discussing Murder on the Orient Express in the book club.

New events will appear on the events page - so do keep checking.

So how will you be celebrating Christie Week?

The Southbank Centre

Hear them share extracts from their favourite work and ask questions about their love of Christie. 16th September, 7.45pm, Purcell Room at Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre, London (£7.50)

Or, indulge your passion for Christie at The Southbank Book Club. Discuss Murder on the Orient Express, published 75 years ago, with other fans. 14th September, 6.30pm, Spirit Level, Royal Festival Hall, London. (Admission is free).

The Agatha Christie Festival

If you’re in Torquay during Christie Week, the radio plays will be performed as part of a celebratory dinner hosted by Mathew Prichard, Agatha Christie’s grandson.
