David Suchet appeared on the UK TV show Richard & Judy on Channel 4 yesterday.
The presenters said how much they love Poirot, and asked when was he doing more. David explained that just that afternoon he had gotten the new script for the new Poirot, Mrs McGinity Dead, and he said he was really impressed with the script. He said he would start shooting in September, and added that they would shoot another story before Christmas, with another two before April 2008.

McGINTY'S DEAD, followed by CAT AMONG THE PIGEONS - yes, an unlikely choice, I know - and then APPOINTMENT WITH DEATH, which will be filmed at Petra in Jordan. The fourth will PROBABLY be MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS. Now that is official, so needle-nardle-noo to the clown who made up that silly cast for DEAD MAN'S FOLLY. bin seit heute neu bei euch, könnte euch zumindest hinsichtlich der ersten Neuverfilmung weiterhelfen.

Die Dreharbeiten für Mrs.McGinty's Dead beginnen am 4.Oktober. Es folgt dann noch in diesem Jahr eine weitere Verfilmung.

Die nächsten beiden werden dann etwa April/Mai 2008 gedreht werden.

die Dreharbeiten zu Mrs. McGinty´s Dead "Vier Frauen und ein Mord" wurden am 02.11.2007 beendet. Ashley Pearce führte Regie nach einem Drehbuch von Nick Dear (Drehbuch auch für Cards on the Table und The Hollow"Das Eulenhaus")

Mrs.McGinty´s Dead wird wohl zu Ostern 2008 auf ITV1 Sonntag Abend laufen.
